Chris Brett | Chief Executive Officer

Chris Brett is the Chief Executive Officer of Altera Infrastructure.

Since joining Altera in 2011, Mr. Brett has held several executive leadership roles, serving as President of the Production business since 2015. During this time, he has played a leading role in shaping the company’s strategy, securing major offshore developments, building long-term customer partnerships, structuring complex commercial and financing solutions, and leading Altera’s transition to independent ownership under Carlyle.

Prior to joining Altera, Mr. Brett was Chief Commercial Officer of Maersk’s FPSO business. His career spans more than two decades across the offshore energy sector, with leadership experience in commercial strategy, business development and major offshore developments throughout the North Sea, Brazil, West Africa, Australia and the former CIS. He also serves as Co-Chairman of the Altera & Ocyan Joint Venture in Brazil.

Mr. Brett holds a Bachelor of Laws (Honours) from the Australian National University and has completed executive education at IMD together with the Advanced Management Program at Harvard Business School.

Arne Hygen Tørnkvist | Executive Vice President
                                        and Deputy CEO

Arne Hygen Tørnkvist is the Executive Vice President & Deputy CEO of Altera Infrastructure.

In 2019, Mr. Tørnkvist was appointed Executive Vice President of Altera Infrastructure Group leading the development and execution of major projects.

Prior to joining Altera, Mr. Tørnkvist was the owner and Managing Director of Aegir, an FPSO asset development and management consultancy. With more than three decades of experience in the FPSO Industry, he has built extensive expertise across business and project development, project execution, and offshore operations.

Mr. Tørnkvist was co-founder and CTO of BWO, an FPSO company originally based in Norway. In 2006, he became co-founder, CTO and later CEO of Aker Floating Production. From 2012 to 2016 he served as Director of the Board of Aker Floating Production.

Mr. Tørnkvist holds a master’s degree in Marine Engineering and Naval Architecture from NTNU in Trondheim, Norway, and has completed executive education programs at INSEAD in France.

Stephen Cox | Chief Financial Officer

Stephen Cox is the Chief Financial Officer of Altera Infrastructure.

Prior to joining Altera, Mr. Cox was Chief Financial Officer of Dolphin Drilling from 2019 to 2025. He also held several operational and finance positions at Proserv, including UK Regional President and as Chief Financial Officer, and following earlier positions at Vetco Gray and Transocean.

Mr. Cox brings more than 30 years of experience in the offshore and services sectors, and has worked across multiple jurisdictions including Africa, Middle East and the United States.

Mr. Cox holds a BA (Hons) in Accounting and Finance and is a member of the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants.

Runar Nyberg | Chief Operating Officer

Runar Nyberg is the Chief Operating Officer of Altera Infrastructure.

Mr. Nyberg joined Altera Infrastructure in 2019, then operating as Teekay Offshore, as Vice President of Operations.

Before joining Altera, Mr. Nyberg held several senior operational and technical leadership positions at Equinor and Statoil, including Vice President of Operations and Offshore Installation Manager. His background spans the upstream oil and gas value chain, including drilling and wells, offshore production, business development, major projects and field development.

With more than 28 years of experience in the upstream oil and gas sector,
Mr. Nyberg has built extensive expertise across offshore production, FPSO operations, multi-asset leadership, operational risk management, performance improvement, and major organisational improvement programs. He also represents Altera on the Altera & Ocyan Joint Venture Board.

Mr. Nyberg holds an MBA from Copenhagen Business School, a bachelor’s degree in Petroleum Engineering from the University of Stavanger, and a bachelor’s degree in Electronic Engineering from Nord University. He has also completed executive education at Harvard Business School.

Martin King | General Counsel

Martin King is the General Counsel at Altera Infrastructure.

Mr. King started in Altera in 2018 as Chief Legal Counsel of Teekay
Offshore Production. Since July 2025 he has held the position of General
Counsel, leading the Legal, Tax, Insurance and Compliance functions.

Before joining Altera, Mr. King acquired extensive legal practice experience
from international law firms based in Australia and Asia where he focused on themaritime, offshore and energy sectors, with particular emphasis on projects and construction. Prior to his legal career, Mr. King spent 10 years serving as an officer in the Royal Australian Air Force.

Mr. King holds a Juris Doctorate (with Honours) from the Australian National
University and a Bachelor of Arts (with Honours), in Literature from the University of New South Wales.

Solveig Hellebust | Senior Vice President of People & Culture

Solveig Hellebust is the Senior Vice President of People & Culture at Altera Infrastructure.

Prior to joining Altera, Ms. Hellebust was Executive Vice President for People, Process and Digitalization at Yara International from 2021 to 2025, following her role as Senior Vice President and Chief Human Resources Officer. She brings more than 25 years of executive leadership experience across human resources, employee, and corporate support functions in international and Nordic companies, including DNB, Pronova Biopharma, and Telenor. She has also held several board positions, including the Yara International Pension Fund Board, Varda, and Nordic Nanovector.

In addition to her executive career, Ms. Hellebust served as an Associate Professor of Economics at BI Norwegian Business School.

Ms. Hellebust holds a Master of Management and Economics from BI Norwegian Business School, a Master of Science in Agricultural Economics from the University of Illinois Urbana–Champaign, and a Ph.D. in International Trade from the Norwegian University of Life Sciences.
