Gannett alive and well thanks to the quick actions of the Randgrid crew

During a recent Man overboard (M.O.B) drill on the Randgrid FSO, one of the crew members discovered that a gannett caught in a fishing net was in distress. Thanks to the crew members’ quick actions, they were able to reach the gannet in time, liberate it from the net and release it back into the wild.

Fortunately, this story has a happy ending – but serves as a great reminder of the importance of keeping our waters clean and discarding of garbage responsibly.
