In March, Altera Infrastructure became member of the Maritime Anti-corruption Network (MACN). MACN is a global network committed to eliminating maritime corruption by raising awareness, sharing best practices, and leveraging the collective strength of its members to engage with governments, non-governmental organisations, and other stakeholders.

Our vision is to lead the industry to a sustainable future, and a clear part of that is working proactively to eliminate corruption in our industry. We are proud to join MACN and other like-minded companies to promote integrity, transparency, and accountability in maritime trade.
Ingvild Sæther, President & Chief Executive Officer Altera Infrastructure Group Ltd.

As an MACN member, Altera commits to incorporate the MACN Anti-corruption Principles into our overall compliance program and to support the collective efforts of the MACN membership in fighting corruption.

About MACN:
MACN is a global business network working towards the vision of a maritime industry free of corruption that enables fair trade to the benefit of society at large. Established in 2011 by a small group of committed maritime companies, MACN has grown to include over 140 members globally, and has become one of the pre-eminent examples of collective action to tackle corruption.
